The Breaking Through quest is one of the newest quests from the latest Tales of Agrabah update of Disney Dreamlight Valley. You’ll find it in the new Aladdin Realm, and it requires a series of objectives to complete. So, without further ado, here are the steps you must follow to complete the quest.
Breaking Through Quest Guide
Before anything else, you first need to complete the Monkey Business quest, which will then automatically unlock this quest.
Once the quest is activated, head back to the Central Market and look for Jasmine. Hand over the tome you got from the Monkey Business quest, and then talk to Aladdin once you’re done.
You will then be tasked to look for the pieces of the alchemical table. Essentially, you need to look for the following:
- Alchemical Cauldron
- Alchemical Table Base
- Alchemical Table Crucible
Look for Pieces of the Alchemical Table
You can find these items scattered all over the desert. To start, simply exit Agrabah via the archway right behind the two NPCs. As soon as you head outside, turn immediately to the right to see a cluster of rocks on the ground.
Break one of these clusters to make your way to the center, where you can pick up the Alchemical Table Crucible.
Next, you want to head in the opposite direction, which is to the left side of the desert, where you can find a small sandstorm. Simply go through the sandstorm to find another cluster of rocks.
This time, simply go behind the cluster to find the Alchemical Cauldron lying on the ground.
The last item to find is the Alchemical Table Base. Simply go behind the cluster of rocks right next to where you picked up the Cauldron. The Table Base should be lying on the ground as well.
As soon as you have all of the pieces, head back inside Agrabah. You’ll find Aladdin and Jasmine running; make sure to follow them to your next quest location.
Build the Alchemy Table
Once you’ve reached the Artisan’s District, head toward the spot right next to Aladdin. Interact with it to assemble the Alchemy table.
In the interface, click on all three components to assemble the table. Talk to Aladdin afterward. He will then give you another set of objectives for the quest.
Gather Fuel for the Braziers
Your next set of objectives is to collect 2x Fuel Bottles and 2x Charcoals for the Alchemy Table’s Braziers.
Head back to the central district earlier (where the massive sandstorm is), and look for this stall in the corner. Interact with it to receive 2x Fuel Bottles.
Go back to the Artisan’s District, and to the right side of Jasmine, you’ll find a fire pit in the corner. Interact with it to receive 1x Charcoal.
You can find another fire pit just right in front of Aladdin. Interact with it to receive your second Charcoal.
Interact with each of the braziers on both sides of the Alchemy Table. Place 1x Charcoal for each of them to complete the objective. Talk to both Aladdin and Jasmine for the final objective.
Collect Resources for the Gold Lamp
Your final objective will be to collect 18x Golden Shards and 1x Lamp Mold to craft a Gold Lamp.
Let’s start with the Golden Shards. Remember those clusters of rocks earlier? You simply need to mine them to pick up Golden Shards. Pictured above is what they look like.
For the Lamp Mold, you’ll need to use your shovel to start digging up a certain spot in the Artisan’s District.
The spot in question is this glowing patch of ground to the left side of the staircase, which you can find left of where Aladdin is standing.
Simply dig it up using your shovel, and you should be able to obtain the Lamp Mold.
Head to the Crafting Station right behind Jasmine. Interact with it to open the Crafting interface. On the Functional Items tab, look for the Gold Lamp (which should be the first one on the list).
Craft the lamp, talk to Jasmine, and hand over the Gold Lamp to complete the quest.
