Seeing your favorite character elsewhere outside of the movies is a cool experience. Elsa is no exception from that as Frozen is definitely one of the movies that keeps on getting more popular after each passing day. Now we’re at a point where you’re crafting potions and surveying the valley to find a suitable accommodation for the exact same person you watched at the cinema years ago. Who would’ve seen this coming? In this quest we will walk you through the steps on how to get things done right. We even included a shopping list for you to clear. Let’s get started!
Elsa’s Quest: Breaking the Ice | Disney Dreamlight Valley
So this quest is supposed to upgrade your pickaxe and reveal some sort of mystery inside the Ice Cavern. But before we get to that point we still have a few things to cross off on our list. Make sure Anna has already invited her sister Elsa to the valley before you begin, you need to have Dazzle Beach unlocked as well!
We mentioned a shopping list earlier so let’s go right ahead and do that. Below is what you will need to craft one of the items needed to complete the quest:
- Vial of Ocean Water. (1)
- Sunflower. (5)
- Lemon (5)
- Sugarcane. (2)
- Garlic. (3)
Go to the Forest of Valor, this is where you can get the three garlic and five lemons. Remember to bring a forager with you, like Anna! You can also try going to the Glade of Trust if you feel like going for a walk.
The next items will be in Dazzle Beach. To get the Vial of Ocean Water head to the shoreline near the wishing well, here you will see a prompt that says “Pick Up”
Up next on the list is the Sugarcane. Go further down the spot where you got the vial of ocean water from until you see Goofy’s Stall. You will see the item Sugarcane Seed here, upon buying two go ahead and grow them. There’s also some sunflowers right next to Goofy’s stall so grab some of those if you haven’t already.
Now that you have all the items go and use your crafting table to create a Warmth of Summer Potion. You can find this by going to your Potion & Enchantment tab. Bring that to Elsa to continue. She’ll apply the potion to your Pickaxe, allowing you to destroy Ice Shards throughout the valley. Return to the Ice Cavern in the Forest of Valor, clear the entryway, and then head inside.
Once inside you will have to make your way through more ice and clear a few vines along the way. Further in you will find a Blue Crest, talk to Elsa to find out more about it.
She will tell you that the item fits into the wall that you were standing next to. Put it back on the wall and talk to Elsa again. Upon talking to her you will find out that there are more of those crests and you have to find them in order to solve the mystery of the Ice Cavern. This finishes the quest!
