Fans of Dragon Adventures have been awaiting a new update so that they can get their hands on a new Dragon. Their prayers have certainly been answered with the new Halloween Update. Not only is there a new Dragon, there is also other content that has been added to this amazing update.
In this guide, we will look at everything that is in the Halloween Update. Additionally, we will guide you through the new content so that you can understand everything that has been added. In this way, you can get the cool new items that are available during this update. Let’s dive in and see what has been added to the game!
Halloween Update Guide
There are various pieces of content that have been added to the game, besides the new Dragon. As a result, there is much to explore for new players. We will go through each of these additions and show you how you can take advantage of the new Halloween Update.
Soon enough, you should have the new Dragon in your collection! Additionally, there are ghosts that you can find as part of this Halloween Update. Check out this guide which shows All Ghost Spawns in Undercity.
UGC Item
When you spawn into the game, the first thing you will notice is the UGC Icon in the top right corner of the screen.
When you click on this Icon, it will say that you can unlock a free UGC Item. However, you will need to hatch the Araneaix Dragon, which is the new Spider Dragon from the Spider Egg.
However, be warned that only the first 7500 players to do this can unlock this Dragon. We will see how you can get the Spider Egg and Araneaix Dragon later on in this guide.
New Halloween World
As part of the update, a new Halloween-themed world has been added to the game. It is a really well-designed world showcasing a creepy world that even comes with its own haunted decorations! This is the Halloween Castle and there is a lot to explore through this map.
You can easily access this world through the Portal at the center of the spawn. When you travel there, you will even find an NPC by the name of Pooki, who will introduce you to this new area ripe for exploring. She will also give you x100 Candy, which is the new Halloween currency.
Additionally, it is worth noting that you can also fish to get Spider Eggs and other Halloween items from the pond. However, the main method of getting these items is mentioned further in this guide.
Trick or Treat
There is a new minigame that is part of the Halloween Castle, which is Trick or Treat. You can find various doors that you can interact with.
This will start a matching minigame where you match the pictures with each other. Finishing these minigames, will allow you to earn a certain amount of Candy. There are many doors in the area and you can farm these to earn as much Candy as possible.
It is in your best interest to accumulate Candy as much as possible. This is because you can use this Candy to purchase Halloween items and other content in the Halloween World. Don’t worry, we will go through what you can purchase in this guide.
New Accessories
There is an Accessories Shop in the new Halloween World. This will show you various Accessories that you can purchase with Candy, including Dragon Accessories. There are also bundles that you can purchase with Robux.
These Accessories constantly Refresh and are limited to the Update. So, you want to get your hands on them as soon as possible!
Event Shop
There is also an Event Shop that provides items you can purchase with Candy. For the most part, this Shop consists of Event-specific Potions.
They can be used for various actions, like changing dragon colors, their element type, and changing colors of your base plot.
However, they are only available during the Update, so if you do want to try them, we recommend you farm as much Candy as possible.
Egg Tomb (Spider Egg and Spider Dragon)
The highlight of the new update is the Spider Egg, which you can obtain from the Egg Tomb.
The Egg Tomb features two eggs that can be purchased with Candy. One of these is currently locked, and it will be available during Week 2 of the Halloween Update.
We strongly recommend that you hold on to your Candy for this Egg. This is because the Spider Egg is the only way to get the Araneaix Dragon, aka the Spider Dragon.
There is only a 2% chance for this Dragon to hatch from this Egg, so you will want to purchase as many of these Eggs as you can.
When you purchase the Egg from the Egg Tomb, you will need to go through a small minigame. This will have you chasing a Ghost around the map, so we recommend equipping a dragon. Keep chasing the Ghost until eventually it disappears and gives you the Spider Egg.
It will be in your Inventory when the chase ends. Chasing the Ghost also gives you a pretty scenic experience of the new Halloween World!
New Spin Rewards
You can also gamble away your Candy with a new Spinner that is available in the Halloween World. You can Spin for specific Halloween-themed rewards of various rarities. This includes the Spider Egg, which you can use to unlock the Spider Dragon.
We recommend that you do not Spin for rewards until you have purchased any specific items that you wanted in the Event.
Pumpkin Smash Challenge
The Pumpkin Smash Challenge is a minigame that can activate any time when you are in the new Halloween World.
A text will appear on screen to notify you that the game has started. After that, you smash Pumpkins for 3 minutes and get Pumpkin Seeds and Candy in return.
When the time is up, you can get some cool rewards depending on your ranking in the challenge. We highly recommend you try for a top rank as you can get amazing rewards Candy and even a Spider Egg!
Party Hatching
A new party hatching system has also been introduced with this new Update. Friends can now get together in a party and hatch eggs together.
The more people there are in the party, the faster the dragons will incubate. In this way, you can collectively increase the farming rate of Eggs.
This is an excellent way to ensure that you get your hands on the Spider Dragon!
