Dungeon Hunter 6 is a thrilling hack-and-slash game with various labyrinths and bosses to clear. Players have multiple classes to choose from and they can command a variety of powerful lieutenants to help them in combat. With that said, let’s cover some tips so you can hop right in and play through the game as a new player!

Complete Beginner’s Guide & Codes

Before starting with the actual guide itself, let’s cover the game’s free gift codes. First, click on the Welfare button on the upper right hand side of the screen.

From here, click on the Gift Codes on the lower right-hand side of the screen. You may need to level up a bit more before you can access this feature. The codes are as follows:

  • dh6dh6 – This code will give you 250,000 coins, 50 diamons, and 10 Unknown Summoning Scrolls.
  • dh6666 – This code will provide you with 100,000 coins and 10 more Unknown Summoning Scrolls.

In addition to claiming these free rewards, you should also keep in mind that some features will be locked behind certain quests and level requirements.

The most important ones that you should absolutely complete as soon as possible are the Storyline quests, as these will unlock various useful features throughout your career.

Titles

Now, bring up the menu screen and click on Titles. Here, you’ll see the various titles that you can unlock throughout the game.

At first, you may think that these are purely cosmetic, but they also provide attributes that you can equip, as shown on the right side of the menu.

You’re free to equip any title you want, but you will also want to select your strongest one and click on Equip Attributes as well to apply their stat boosts to your character.

Lieutenants

Next up are the lieutenants. Ideally, you’ll want at least one or two tanky melee characters, especially if you’re a ranged user. These units will help draw aggro away from you, which can come in clutch against bosses.

Depending on your class, you may want to have more damage dealers and healers instead of tanks. This is especially true if you’re playing the Warrior class, as you’re already acting as the team’s tank.

If you have around two dollars to spend, you should consider getting the pack that has Archmage Herbert in it.

He will provide a massive boost to your power at the start even if you don’t upgrade him, though you can enhance him by simply doing your dailies.

There are more packs that give you lieutenants, though these will require you to spend even more money, which you may not want to do yet as a brand new player.

If you are inclined to spend money on the game, however, you will want to spend your green diamonds solely on Free Purchase offerings, as they give you a 100% refund and includes a Demonic Wolf lieutenant pack.

Reaching the Level Cap

You will want to ensure that you reach the current level cap every single day. To check what the current cap is, click on the bag icon on the upper right corner of the screen.

In this menu, the current world level should be displayed on the upper left-hand side of the screen. Clicking on it will show you when the cap will be unlocked.

Once you reach the current level cap, any surplus EXP will then be converted into Bronze Coins that you can use in certain shops for some useful items.

Tome of Tower

Next, if you click on the AFK button on the lower right hand side of the screen, you will be taken to the Tome of Tower menu.

This game mode will eventually be unlocked as you play through the game. You want to regularly level this up to as high as you can as they increase your AFK rewards.

If you click on the Quick Slaying button on the left side of the menu, you can also claim around four hours worth of AFK rewards immediately at the cost of a few blue diamonds.

Event Packs

Finally, you should consider saving your blue diamonds for the Event Packs. This includes Torment Tower Gift Packs, which provide you with summoning scrolls, EXP tomes, and perfection stones.

You’ll have to clear certain floors of the Torment Tower to redeem these rewards, but they are absolutely worth it if you can complete them.

And that concludes this guide for Dungeon Hunter 6. These are just some of the things you should keep in mind when starting out, and there will be more mechanics to consider once the game opens up more later on.
