Dungeon Hunter 6: Skill Tree Guide

The skill tree system in Dungeon Hunter 6 allows players to pick one of the typically two choices of each skill. There’s a wide range of combinations that you can try and explore in the new game. This guide will be about how to learn setting up your skill tree for grinding.

Skill Tree Guide

The skill tree in Dungeon Hunter 6 can be reset as many times as needed. And you’re going to have more available skills that you can learn than you can use. So, make sure to explore several builds to see what works best for you.

Here’s a summary of how you should prioritize your skill tree:

  • Your main 3 skills + Ultimate
  • Lieutenant skills
  • Additional skills that add properties to your active skills such as Lifesteal

As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock your second skill tree at a certain level, usually between 40 and 50. This second skill tree, often called a sub-class, is essential for enhancing your character’s abilities.

When configuring your skills, keep in mind that the order matters, especially if you plan to use auto-combat frequently.

Place your buff skills in the first slot, as auto-combat activates skills in a clockwise order. By having your buff skills go first, you ensure that your character benefits from the buffs right from the start of battle.

You can slot maximum 3 skills, 1 for Ultimate and the bigger button is your basic attack.

After picking 3 skills, make sure to allocate your skill points on these skills first. Picking your build is going to depend on your playstyle and if you’re early game or late game.

Flat damage increase often seems bad, but flat damage is great for early game. And depending on the issue, you can opt to dump your points onto Def or Dodge enhancement to improve your survivability.

Additionally, there are extra skills, like the Arrow Rain Lifesteal, which you can benefit from a single skillpoint. You don’t have to upgrade it further when there are a lot more other skills you can focus on.

Upgrading their skills is crucial, especially the “Lieutenant Damage Bonus” skill, which increases the damage dealt by all your lieutenants in combat. This is a significant power boost, so prioritize it.

Additionally, reduce the cooldown of your lieutenant’s ultimate abilities by raising “Lieutenant Fury”, allowing you to unleash these powerful moves more frequently.

You also want to focus on upgrading the last 4 skills on the right:

  • Lieutenant DMG Enhancement
  • Lieutenant DMG Reduction Enhancement OR Lieutenant Healing Enhancement
  • And Lieutenant Blessing

When it comes to the second part of the skill tree for lieutenants, focus on skills that match your lieutenants’ abilities.

If your lieutenant excels in healing, prioritize skills that enhance healing, while if your lieutenant is more of a tank, go for skills that offer damage reduction.

And to do this, yes, you’ll have to spend 5 skillpoints on each of the skills that precede them.
