Exoprimal: Does It Work On Linux?

When your game is still in development you often receive a lot of questions regarding its current state or even its future, and if you’ve done your homework on your consumers you would usually be prepared to answer these questions.

Ever since video games became a widespread form of entertainment the platforms they’re made available to have significantly increased as well, you can even include Linux on that list if you like running a few lines of code before actually getting to do any gaming.

So the question is, does Capcom have any plans of letting you play Exoprimal on Linux?

Cross-platform multiplayer is becoming more and more prevalent in video games recently, some people enjoy it, and some people complain about how they get dogged all the time by players who use a mouse and keyboard. It’s not always for everybody, especially in the PVP scene, but that’s just how fun works.

So far, the only platforms the game has been made available to are the Playstation, Xbox, and of course PC. You’ll be able to join in with your friends who don’t have either or with no issues once the game is a little more ironed out.

To be able to enjoy playing across any platform you only need to have your Capcom ID handy with you, which makes sense as the game is only played online anyway.

If you’re the average Steam window-shopping enthusiast, you would know that a game will be available on Linux by checking on the system requirements on the store page.

Sadly, that tab is completely absent as well, but since the game is still being worked on, you’ll be able to stay up-to-date with the latest news here or on their website if ever the penguin makes its presence known!
