One Piece Odyssey is the newest game out there that’s based on an anime show and it’s certainly not the first one, not even of the show! There’s been a lot of games based on anime shows in the past years and most of the big ones like One Piece and Naruto seem to have the most of them. This newest game features JRPG gameplay where you control the Straw Hat Crew as they go around adventuring. There’s a lot of places you can explore in this game and some of them have puzzles in them, in this guide we’ll show you how to do one of them!
Ice & Water Puzzle Guide | One Piece Odyssey | Explore Ice Block Ruins
The Ice Block Ruins is one of the more confusing maps in One Piece, so many things to activate and so many places to go. The map can change from a liquid state where there’s water that you can’t pass, to a solid state where you can pass the frozen water. Here is how you go through these ruins and the big puzzle around it.
Step 1: Crystal Key
At the very start of the area go make your way up to the western part of it and find a chest that has the Crystal Key.
Step 2: Change to Solid State
North of the chest is a room that has one of these devices that changes the ruins to solid or liquid, change it to solid.
Step 3: Enter The Ruins
Get out of the room and a new way via the ice can be found, use Luffy to go from platform to platform until you reach the top.
There you’ll find a big frozen area with a door in the middle, go inside it to get to the next area.
Step 4: Reach next Control Room and Switch to Liquid State
Follow the path shown above and you’ll reach another Control room, change the level to a liquid state.
Step 5: Use the Lift, get the Red Key.
This will make lift in the previous room from the control room start, use it to go up and reach the area with the chest and an enemy. Defeat the enemy and claim the Red Key inside the chest.
Step 6: Reach the next Control Room
Now go back to the control room and switch it back to the solid state again. Then make your way back to the start of the area and then head northeast to the next control room.
Once there, change it to liquid state again!
Step 7: Get the Blue Key
To the southeast of the control room is a door that leads to another lift that will lead you to the next room down south.
Keep going south until you find another lift, then go up the lift, fight the enemy and claim the key behind it. Same as before.
Step 8: Back to Solid State
Using the blue key to open the gate behidn the chest you got it from, you’ll be lead to the room below the starting room.
From there go north and change the state back to Solid and go south to meet the boss of the ruins!
Step 9: Water Colosus
Once you reach the Water Colossus you’ll start the boss battle and that’ll be the end of the ruins! Congratulations you now know how to go through the Ice Block Ruins in One Piece Odyssey, now go out there and try it yourself!
