Just like all the games that came before it, Farming Simulator 25 allows you to live out your dreams as a humble farmer producing and selling all kinds of products. In this guide, we will be covering the cooper, which can create various types of wooden products that you can sell for a decent amount of cash in the game.

Cooper Complete Guide

In order to make a cooper, you have to go and check the “Factories” tab under build mode. From here, just scroll down until you find the correct building, which should cost you around $300,000 to place. Just plop it down wherever you desire to start working with it.

Now, to start using the cooper, check the back of the structure. There, you should see a small area where you can drop in resources that will be used for production. In this case, the cooper can take either planks or planks long. To check how much is stored in it, touch the structure.

Once you have all of that set up, you can go to the front of the building and then step on the floating wrench icon. Here, you can press the R button to open the “Manage Production Point” interface. You can also open this through various other menus, but this is one way to do it on the spot.

What Does It Produce?

The cooper can make wooden barrels, bath tubs, and buckets. Each of them have two variations, which is where the planks and planks long come into play. The one thing you should take note of is that both variations will require different numbers of resources.

For example, the barrels can be made with either 170 planks long or 250 regular planks. It is up to you to pick which options to go for. Either way, just press Activate to start production on any of these products.

This menu should contain all of the necessary information for this process, including the costs, how many times the cycle occurs per month, the recipe for each product, and the amount of resources that you currently have in the cooper’s storage.

There is a change output mode option that will determine what you do with each product. Here is what each of the options here do:

  • Storing – When a product is set to “Storing”, it will simply build up within your storage until it can no longer do so.
  • Selling – This will make it so that the products are automatically sold periodically.
  • Distributing – When set to this, your outputs will instead be sent over to your other production facilities if they require that specific product.

These products will eventually pop up in front of the cooper. They’ll be strapped to wooden pallets, and each of these bundles will amount to around a thousand or so of that product. To move them around, you will need a tractor with a pallet fork attached to it.

One thing to note is that the production of this structure is divided by how many are currently active. For example, if you have one type of barrel and one type of bath tub running at the same time, they will both be halved.

Because of this, it is usually ideal to just pick one thing to produce at a time. Prices change as time goes by, so just pick whichever product seems to be the most profitable for you at the time and start focusing production on that.

And those are the essentials that you need to know with regards to the cooper. While you are here, check out our guide on how to maximize your yield in Farming Simulator 25 to start racking up even more cash through some smart farming!
