Farthest Frontier is a game where a bunch of villagers will be trying to build up a whole village and maybe raise to a town with your guidance. As everybody knows the biggest foundation in the history of building and architecture was Wood. In this guide, we will be showing you how to obtain and collect Wood no matter where you are!
How To Get Wood – Farthest Frontier
Logs are the most essential thing when you’re trying to build up a village out of nothing. As you can see around your villages you will be surrounded by a plethora of different types of trees. This means that your first objective is completed – find a forest!
To start getting logs you will simply need to click on a Tree. This can be any Tree in the forest no matter how big or small.
Then on the right, there will be a window that will open that’s saying details about the Tree you’re looking at. Then just continue to press on the Harvest Resource.
Now it will be put into a working queue. One of your Log Workers (or villagers) will come up to the tree after a while and begin chopping it down. If it is super important you can press on the Prioritized square on the right side and people will come here and work on this tree immediately.
Another way to do it is by pressing the Resources Tab on the bottom right corner of the screen. This is what will pop out.
This will highlight everything that the Villagers are harvesting at the moment. This can be everything from rocks to sticks and trees. Now while in this mode, you can hold your Left Click and simply make a big square over all the trees you want to be harvesting. This way you won’t have to do it manually tree by tree and save a lot of time.
If there are some other materials you don’t want to be collecting in this selected area, just simply tick all of them out and only leave the Trees Harvest Option enabled. Walla! You will have people harvesting and chopping down trees by the minute.
That should be it! You will be getting the most important material known to man! Have fun collecting trees and make sure not to chop off all of them!
