In the A Plague Tale series, Amicia and Hugo go through a lot of things that would give most kids PTSD (which they probably have, anyway). From sneaking away from soldiers, escaping burning buildings, to escaping man eating rats. They are just full of bad luck, aren’t they? Well in A Plague Tale Requiem, their luck is not going to get any better as they are trapped in a building full of man-eating rats. To survive, they need to escape. In this guide, you will help the de Rune siblings escape the building in chapter 6 without getting eaten.
A Plague Tale Requiem – Find a Way out of the Building in Chapter 6
When the gameplay starts, look for this source of light. Shoot an Ignifer at it to scare away the rats in the area.
However, that won’t be enough, as the ground below Amicia and Hugo is still swarming with rats. Switch to Tar and throw it at the fire, making the rats back away as the fire gets amplified.
Quickly make your way to the fire and stand near it to avoid getting swarmed. Look at the light source on the pillar and shoot an Ignifer at it to create another area of light.
It is not enough, however, as rats are still swarming around it. Same as before, pull out your Tar and throw it at the light source to amplify the light. Quickly run up to the light source and grab it before going up the stairs.
Make your way through the building with the torch. Be careful as there are rats in the area as well.
Place the torch on the wall here and open the door to your right.
Go through this door on the left and you will have successfully escaped the building.
