How To Catch The Isonade
The Isonade is a unique Mythic fish, and only one player per server can catch it from a Strange Whirlpool. Once someone reels it in, the whirlpool closes, blocking access to Vertigo until a new Strange Whirlpool appears.
Once it spawns, you’ll get a notification on the middle-top portion of the screen saying, “A strange whirlpool has opened”.
To reach the Isonade, approach the whirlpool with your boat but stop just outside its edge. You don’t have to jump on it, just cast your bobber into the whirlpool. This is your cue to start fishing! Although this is the only known location for the Isonade, there are strategies to improve your odds of catching it first. However, remember, luck plays a significant role!
Catching Yourself an Isonade
Now that you know where to find the Isonade, it’s time to discuss how to increase your chances of reeling one in. To be honest, there’s only one thing you should know. It loves Truffle Worm, the rarest bait in the game.
If you don’t have a stockpile of Truffle Worms, opt for other baits that enhance your Universal Luck, Resilience, or Lure Speed. Great alternatives include Bagels, Maggots, Squid, Seaweed, Weird Algae, and Night Shrimp.
How To Get Truffle Worms? The most reliable source of Truffle Worms is through Volcanic Geodes. These geodes can only be obtained using a Magma Rod in the Roslit Volcano. To maximize your chances of finding them, consider using Magnet Bait while fishing.
The Isonade can appear during any season. Weather conditions don’t affect its appearance; it can be caught in rain, wind, sunshine, or any other weather. And you can catch the Isonade during both day and night.
