The latest update for Fruit Battlegrounds allows players to awaken the powerful Darkness Fruit into an even stronger V2 variant. It’s always nice to get more power!
The V2 variant is a Fusion Fruit, combining the powers of Darkness and Quake to make an even stronger Fruit. You get the best of both worlds, more or less.
In this short guide, we’ll tell you how to awaken your Darkness Fruit and get the V2 Fusion Fruit form.
How To Awaken Darkness V2 Guide
Awakening your Darkness Fruit to V2 has a lot of hardcore prerequisites you must meet first, as follows:
- You should first obtain the Darkness and Quake Fruits. They can both be obtained randomly from boss drops or by spinning the gacha for Fruit.
- Get the Darkness Fruit to Lv300 and the Quake Fruit to Lv100. We have a guide to help you level up Fruit quickly!
- Unlock at least 35 titles. If you need help with that, we also have a guide for title unlocks.
Once you’ve accomplished all 3 requirements, you have to look for the Caesar Clown NPC in Dressrosa. He’s close to one of the spawn points.
To find him most easily, go to the central plaza with the water fountain. While there, look for a tall cylindrical building, like a tower. It’s the one marked above.
Head toward that tower and you’ll find Caesar Clown sitting at the base, next to the entrance. As we said before, he’ll be closest to the nearby spawn point.
Now all that’s left to do is to speak with him. If you’ve met all 3 requirements, he will say that you’re strong enough to wield the power of two Fruits and offers to awaken Darkness and Quake.
What this means is that he will effectively combine both Fruits into the DarkXQuake Fusion Fruit, also known as Darkness V2.
However, your Darkness and Quake Fruits will be consumed in the process! You won’t be able to revert the process, so make sure you want to awaken your Fruits.
