We all have that experience of finding a new weapon in a game and you start using it only to find out it’s either the best weapon you’ve seen or is worse than the one you’ve been using earlier. As more and more of these weapons are added into your arsenal you create this list of items that range from the best weapons you have to the worst. Then you add your own personal flare to to this list, like it may not be effective but it is cool and so on. You just made a Tier list and you didn’t even notice it, and that’s what we’re going to show to you right now. Here is a tier list of the Non-DLC Weapons in Generation Zero.
Non-DLC Weapons Tier List | Generation Zero
Generation Zero is a game about fighting robots, and most of the time robots are all metal so you need to use metal to fight metal, it’s the rules. See a metal guy being trying to kill you, throw some lead at him. Lead throwers, mostly known for the name of guns, aren’t created equal though, and some are better at certain things than others.
S – Tier
- Kvm 59 Machine Gun – Probably the best weapon in the game when you just want to bring ruin to a pack of robots. High Magazine Capacity and its experimental weapon version throws sparks around the other enemies, plus the lightning effect is just cool!
- Pansarvärnsgevär 90 – Nothing beats a 50 caliber sniper rifle. Unlike the other sniper rifles in the game, this one is semi-automatic, has a high magazine count, and packs a punch! Just be mindful of the ammo!
A – Tier
- Kvm 89 Squad Automatic Weapon – The Kvm 59’s smaller brother, still a great weapon to use because of the high magazine capacity but is sadly using much more rarer ammo than the big brother.
- Klaucke 17 – The only high tier pistol in the game the Klaucke is actually a great secondary or fallback weapon to bring. It can kill any mob with ease and its many possible attachments makes this gun all the more appealing.
- Automatgevär 4 – Probably the first Assault rifle you’ll ever get in the game the AG4 is a great gun at medium and longer ranges. The ammunition is easier to find but it does have some recoil specially if you’re using a scope.
- Automatgevär 5 – The 5.56 variant of the AG4, the AG5 is the most accurate assault rifle in the game and can be great at shooting at those weak spots!
B – Tier
- HP5 – Lightweight, ammo is plentiful and it can take down a hunter in a full mag as long as you aim right. The only downside of this gun is its massive spread at longer ranges.
- Sjöqvist Semi-Auto – Not only is it a cool gun, look it up it’s designed after the second ever semi-automatic shotgun in the world, it also has a faster fire-rate than the other shotgun.
- M/46 “Kpist” SMG – Another SMG but this time the experimental version is fun because it’s basically Full Auto x 2! It eats through ammo quick though and good luck using it beyond short range!
- Brännboll Bat – No need to reload a bat, just make sure you keep your eye on your stamina and make sure you just don’t charge at a pack of hunters in an open field.
- Sledgehammer – Want robots to explode without using ammo? This is the weapon for you, the harder hitting melee weapon of the game it swings pretty fast for a sledgehammer!
- AI-76 – Another Assault Rifle in the list but due to it’s horrible spread it goes lower down the list, still an effective weapon specially with the right attachments but there are better alternatives.
C – Tier
- .44 Magnus – One of the greatest sins in Video games is making the Revolvers weak, and Generation Zero kinda did this. It has higher damage than all the pistols but the rate of fire and small capacity just makes this a horrible choice.
- 12G Pump Action – Probably your first shotgun in the game but is marred by a long reload and an abysmal fire rate. Coupled by the short range and you’ve got yourself a recipe for a good short range gun but horrible at anything else.
- Älgstudsare Hunting Rifle – The second most powerful sniper rifle in the game it suffers the same problems as the last sniper rifle which is poor rate of fire and small magazine capacity. The damage makes up for it somewhat.
D – Tier
- Meusser Hunting Rifle – Probably your first sniper rifle and once you get a better one you’ll leave this in storage or recycle it. Low rate of fire, low magzine capacity and there are other rifles out there with higher damage.
- Granatgevär m/49 – It’s a rocket launcher why is it so low! Well it’s because not only does the thing weigh a ton its ammunition weighs you down as well. Once you’ve compared it to the other guns it quickly becomes a hindrance.
F – Tier
- Moller PP – Your first pistol and firearm of the game and will quickly be thrown away once you get something else. The Moller PP has bad in every department with the only good thing is the rate of fire, which isn’t much since you have 8 rounds and low damage.
That’s all the non-DLC guns in the game, and what I think is their tier in the list. Remember that all lists are subjective and maybe you just really like the Moller PP and will finish the game with only that gun, if so more power to you!
