Genshin Impact‘s new update 5.7 features new content for players to explore. This includes the Travelers’ Tales: Gilded Chapter event, allowing players to check out new anecdotes that further help flesh out the lore of the game. There are plenty of characters that you can find in the newer locations who will tell you their tales or have you join them on lazy days. It can serve as a nice break from grinding and trying to get characters. In this guide, we’ll show you where you can find all the anecdotes for Day 1. Without further delay, let’s get into it!

All Anecdote Chronicles 5.7 DAY 1

Before you can actually do the new anecdotes in Genshin Impact, you will need to make sure you are eligible. That means you’ll have to complete Archon Quest “A New Star Approaches.” You’ll also need to be at Adventure Rank 28.

Ideally, completing Archon Quest “Masquerade of the Guilty” and Story Quest “Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II” will help you get the best experience. But these are not strictly necessary.

While there are plenty of anecdotes that you can find for the Travelers’ Tales: Gilded Chapter event, there is a limit on how many you can do per day. You can only complete 5 anecdotes per day before being locked out of the characters.

Typically, you can find anecdotes via the character icons that appear on the map. However, if these icons stop appearing, or are greyed out, it means that you’ll only be able to do them the next day.

With that said, we’ll go over the 5 anecdotes that we were able to record for Day 1.

Anecdote Location #1 – Charlotte

Starting off, you’ll be heading to the Court of Fountaine which can be found in the region of the same name. You should be able to make out Charlotte’s icon here.

There are many teleport markers in this city so you can use either of them.

When you arrive here, you should find Charlotte peaking over a bush near some tables. Talk to her and she’ll go over her journalism experience. You can go with whatever dialogue options you want.

Anecdote Location #2 – Collei

From here, you want to make your way to Sumeru City. It can be found between the Vissudha Field and Avidya Forest in Sumeru.

Zoom in on the city and you’ll be able to find the character icon. Use the teleport marker that you can see right next to the icon.

When you arrive here, you’ll want to go down the branches and make your way to the Akademiya. Inside the Akademiya, go to the doors at the end and enter the House of Daena.

When you’re inside the House of Daena, go towards the left and you’ll see two characters talking. Interact with Collei and you’ll be able to join in on the conversation.

Anecdote Location #3 – Cyno

Next, you’ll need to go to the Vissudha Field in Sumeru, which is West of the Sumeru City. You can go to the nearest teleport and you’ll be able to get here pretty easily.

From here, make your way to the log that acts like a bridge between two land masses. Near this log, you’ll find two people talking about mushrooms. Talk to Cyno and you’ll be able to join in the conversation.

Anecdote Location #4 – Kamisato Ayato

Next, make your way to Inazuma City that can be found at the southern half of Narukami Island. You’ll be able to find the character icon here, with two teleport markers on either side of the city.

Simply go to the icon location and you’ll find Kamisato Ayato in front of a clothing store. Talk to him and you’ll be able to help solve his dilemma!

Anecdote Location #5 – Yae Miko

For the final anecdote of Day 1, we’ll be heading to the Grand Narukami Shrine in Inazuma. It can be found in the northern half of the Narukami Island.

You can use the teleport marker that will get you right in front of the shrine.

From there, head to the back of the shrine and a cutscene will automatically start. During this cutscene, exhaust the dialogue options and Yae Miko will eventually appear.

Unlike most of the other anecdotes, you’ll also need to get a fortune slip. You can do this by simply clicking on screen and you’ll be able to draw the fortune slip. Doing so will allow you to progress with the Yae Miko anecdote.

That’s everything you need to know about all the anecdote chronicles for Travelers’ Tales: Gilded Chapter event in Genshin Impact. Remember, these are plenty of other anecdotes you can do as the ones we looked at are for Day 1. You can also choose to do other anecdotes provided you can see the character icons on the map. If they disappear, this simply means that you’ll need to wait and do the others on the remaining days!
