Beat The Clock 24 Hours Guide
To access the “Beat The Clock 24 Hours” quest, you’ll first need to complete Incidents Are Ever Sudden, the first subquest in the From One Case to Another quest chain. Then, head northwest of Masters of the Night-Wind to begin the mission.
After speaking to Taruka, head to the marked location near Masters of the Night-Wind. This area isn’t just a pretty backdrop—it’s full of hidden clues and a bit of sneaky adventuring.
- Shortcut: Use the Flower-Feather Clan’s Statue teleport point, then head south to the marker.
Once you’ve arrived, find a cozy box (yes, literally a box) to sit on and wait for the clock to hit the next day between 20:00 – 22:00. Make sure you sit on the box; I spent a couple more minutes just to figure out you have to actually sit on the box.
After time passes, follow the quest marker to a small wooden bridge leading to the camp.
Here’s where things get exciting (and sneaky)! Find a nearby Iktomisaur, but don’t get too close or it’ll detect you. Use its powers to infiltrate the camp. Soar above the guards and land on the short cliffside to progress further.
As you approach the cave entrance, you’ll notice something on the wall that can be used to distract the two guards nearby, making it much easier to slip past them.
NOTE: Don’t rush! Flying too low might alert the guards. Take your time and aim for those high spots.
Using the Iktomisaur’s Spiritspeaker State, inspect the red graffiti guarded by two Saurians. This will open the path forward. Next, Indwell the Iktomisaur standing near the gate (as shown in the image below), and use it to teleport behind the guards.
After uncovering the secrets of the camp and completing the cutscene, return to Taruka to report your findings.
