The Core Apparatus event in Genshin Impact requires you to collect materials in the wild using the material collector. There are three processes in making a product. The first step that you will need to do in this event is to collect materials in the wild.
Afterwards, you need to have an elemental reaction applied to you. Lastly, you need to activate the core. One of the objectives you will get is to collect 4 Portions of Core Propulsion by defeating 2 Specters.
Specters are common enemies that you can mainly find in the Inazuma Region. A quick way to do this is to open up your adventurer handbook and go to the enemies tab. Select the Specter enemy and you can track them on your map.
You can check also check them near the Sangonomiya Shrine. Defeat 2 Specters in this area and you will complete the objective.
