There are several steps to creating toys according to Bertrand. You can start this questline by talking to Bertrand who is located on the Ritou island in Inazuma. He will ask you to collect materials using the material collector gadget.
Before you can get this objective, you will need to defeat other enemies like specters first. Defeating them will give you core propulsion portions. Once you are finished with the other objectives, you will need to defeat Hypostasis.
It does not matter which Hypostasis you choose to defeat, so choose the easiest one for your team. Make sure you have the Material Collector equipped before you defeat the Hypostasis. Once you defeat the Hypostasis, collect the rewards.
Return to Bertrand in Ritou and give him the material collector to complete the quest.
