When you enter the mysterious space with Yanfei, you will notice a huge clock in the middle of the area and a door underneath it. To your right is a smaller clock that you can use to move the hands forward or backward. 

To view the complete guide to this puzzle, take a look at this guide. When you are asked to look for clues during the puzzle, go south from the smaller clock and you will find an interactable object. These notes will give you more insight into the space and puzzle. 

Keep an eye out for these highlighted notes. You can find another one near the cave to your right as you progress as well. This will happen when you need to open up the gate to regain access to the smaller clock in the area with Xiao.
