Genshin Impact has a new update that has expanded that map with new locations for players to explore. In these new locations, you can find unique places where you can obtain more quests and objectives. One of these places is the Abandoned Production Zone.

In this guide, we will show you how you can locate and go to the Abandoned Production Zone. Finding this zone will allow you to progress your quests and complete objectives. It will also show you a new area that is part of the Fortress Meropide location. Let’s dive in.

Go to the Abandoned Production Zone

Going to the Abandoned Production Zone is the part of the Scenes from Life in Meropide: Safe Operation quest. This quest is automatically started after talking to Caterpillar for the Game of the Rich quest. After getting this quest, exit the room.

If you want a complete guide for this quest, check out the Scenes from Life in Meropide: Safe Operation Guide.

When you exit the room, you will find yourself in a large open factory area which is the Administrative Area.

Make your way down the stairs to the left, and then turn right walking down the small incline.

You will see an NPC by the name of Nakul, who is a Researcher there. You can even glide down to her directly as this will be much faster.

There will be a railing next to Nakul. Jump down this railing and start gliding, turning towards the left while doing so. Land on the nearest platform you see.

You will find yourself in the lower floor of the Administrative Area. Essentially, you want to go to the West side of the lower floors of the Administrative Area.

If you don’t want to glide, you can use the stairs and then track if you are in the right place using your Map. We have provided the location on the Map so you can easily see where you need to head towards.

When you reach the designated area, you will see an elevator that leads into the lower floors, as it will have arrows pointing downwards. Enter this elevator and it will take you to the Production Zone: Lower Level

Exit the elevator and you will see you are in the large production zone with a large circular area in the middle. Turn towards the left and walk around the circle, until you reach the large hallway that leads all the way to the left.

At the end of this hallway, you will find another elevator that leads downwards. When you enter the elevator, it will give you the prompt saying: Go to Abandoned Production Zone. Choose this option and activate the elevator.

When the elevator stops down, you will see there are two tunnels that you can go to. Ignore the one that has a grate at the end and instead go for the one that is open at the end.

Go straight ahead to this one and you will see a yellow marker right ahead. Interact with it and you will find Caterpillar, who will give you your next objective of this quest.

That’s how you can locate the Abandoned Production Zone in the Fortress Meropide Location. This objective is part of a larger quest, so the work does not end there. You will need to complete the rest of the quest to get the amazing rewards at the end!
