Talents & Skills
Heizou’s base kit is an on-field, ATK scaling, and Anemo DPS. As a catalyst user, his value is greatly enhanced as an off-field DPS enabler making his synergy very high. His kit makes it so that Heizou needs to be on the actual battlefield and punching and kicking his enemies. He has very big supportive capabilities that allow for Anemo users to be enhanced. Stick with these:
- Normal Attack: Fudou Style Martial Attacks
- Heartstopper Strike – The most flashy and damaging ability. This is his elemental skill. It has a passive called Declension which stacks with his swirl attacks. With each stack, he can do a lot more damage.
- Windmuster Kick – This is an attack skill that can deal a lot of damage to multiple enemies at once. You will need to prioritize this in your combat because it is more than useful with all the stacks you might be getting. The more enemies the better.
- Paradoxical Practice – Getting stacks for his Heartstopper Strike.
- Penetrative Reasoning – This will increase elemental mastery by a whole lot when hitting enemies.
- Pre-Existing Guilt
Constellation
- Constellation 1 – gains stack and ATK Speed by +15%
- Constellation 2 – his vacuum is a little stronger and lasts a little longer
- Constellation 3 – gives +3 levels to Elemental Skill
- Constellation 4 – his burst infusion explosion refunds flat energy
- Constellation 5 – also gives +3 levels to Elemental Skill
- Constellation 6 – his E skill will gain 16 CR and 32 CDMG at max stacks
Everything that you would be using here is moderately useful for Heizou. It all fits in nicely with his playstyle.
Optimal Weapons
For Heizou you can follow two sets of roads when it comes to weapons. This can be either the Dedicated DPS Build or the Raw EM Build. You can go for a mix in-between but it’s better if you decide on the one only as it will maximize your performance.
The DPS Build will be for more singular targets, while the EM build is more for the swirl and going for multiple targets at once.
For DPS look something that will increase his ATK, Crit, Anemo DMG Bonus, E skill-based damage. For EM go for Elemental Mastery, ATK, and Anemo DMG bonus.

- Sacrificial Fragments with any 4-star weapons
Artifacts
Heizou is one of the most flexible characters when it comes to any builds you might go for. This is especially for the Articaft build you might choose from. So just go crazy and follow your playstyle, but if you want to choose our way of perfecting Heizou, this is what you’ll have to do.
Focus on ATK, Crit, Anemo and EM.
- 4 Piece Instructor
- 2 Piece Viridescent Venerer
- 4 Piece Thundering Fury
Team Combination
You can also pick a lot of the combinations by whatever you want to play as. Heizou can fit in with most of the characters. But preferred and to be the most effective you will have to stick with these:

- Bennett

- Yun Jin
- Bennett
