Genshin Impact has released a new update that is packed with content and new areas to explore. Players are already stumbling onto new quests and NPCs to talk to in the new areas. One of these new NPCs is Clynes in the Fortress of Meripide location.
In this guide, we will show you how you can help Clynes operate the terminal. Doing so will allow you to progress this quest ahead and keep finding new places in the new update. Let’s get into it.
Help Clynes Operate the Terminal
After finding Clynes and talking to him as part of the Scenes from Life in Meropide: Dead End quest, he will tell you that he needs your help operating the Terminal.
The Research Terminal basically requires two people to operate it at the same time for it to work.
So, you will need to go to the upper platform and operate the lever there. The flight of stairs that lead above are right next to Clynes.
However, when you go to this lever, you will not be able to operate it immediately. This is because it needs a charging device alongside it for it to function. You can see how the charging device looks as there will be one right next to the lever Clynes is at.
The charging device you need can be located downstairs, just underneath the last flight of stairs. You can identify these stairs by the NPC Galvana, who is a Guard standing by them. The charging device will have a large green circle around it. Approach and pick it up.
Now go back up to the lever that you were supposed to pull. Go up to it and drop the charging device nearby, making sure the lever is within the circle. This will charge up the lever, automatically activating it and finishing the objective.
Now you can go up to Clynes and talk to him, allowing you to finish the Scenes from Life in Meropide: Dead End quest.
