Genshin Impact and most games these days have quest markers and fast travel points everywhere. It’s a great way to save time and keep the ball rolling and keep the player interested. It wasn’t always like this though, old games like Morrowind didn’t have quest markers and only had a few select fast fast travel points. These days some games even take it to the extreme and let stand back and the game plays itself. Whatever your view is on quests in games today we all know these markers are quite useful, in this guide we’ll show you what to do in a certain quest in Genshin Impact – the Look For A Rising Pillar Of Smoke quest.
Look For A Rising Pillar Of Smoke In Genshin Impact
At one point while traveling around and doing quests in Vanarana one of the quests requires you to look for a Rising Pillar of Smoke. This is the first step in the quest “Cooking, the Flavor of Nature” and you’ll be given an area on the map to check for that pillar of smoke. The area is marked in a yellow circle south of Vanararna and west of Sumeru City.
When you get to the area you should look for the areas that go down beside the road. The place you’ll be looking for will be marked with a glowing yellow pillar. When you get close to it you’ll see the smoke.
Heading towards that area you’ll see a pot over a campfire and a whimpering Aranara. Go interact with the NPC to continue the quest.
