While exploring the new areas of Genshin Impact you’ll see a lot of these Aranara’s floating and walking around. One of the quests heavily involves them so most players will undoubtedly find them and interact with them. Outside from the main quest around the Aranaras there are also side quests scattered about involving them. In this guide we’ll show you how to get Shriveled Starshroom in Genshin Impact.

So why do you need Shriveled Starshrooms? Well, if you’ve progressed some of the quests in the area you should have noticed that some of the plant life around here interact with different elements. For example, bouncy mushrooms can be hit with an electro attack and that makes them charged. That means you can jump higher when using these newly charged bouncy mushrooms! There are plenty of combinations out there so feel free to explore.
For this article though we’ll focus on one Aranara that’s collecting materials, and this one needs a shriveled Starshshroom and a Viparyas. The latter can easily be found in various areas in the main quest involving the Aranara while the former can be quite interesting to look for.
For those who are looking for this Material Collecting Aranara, they can be found to the west of the Apam Woods near the road. To get the Shriveled Starshroom you’ll first need to find a normal Starshroom in the wild.
Afterwards you’ll need to hit the Starshroom with a Pyro attack. One of the first characters you’ll get which is Amber should be enough. After a Starshroom is hit with a Pyro attack it’ll turn into a Shriveled Starshroom!
