In Animal Behavior your tasks will be very interesting. You will need to go around the map, looking for specific types of animals, and take a picture of them in 3 stances. In this guide, we will be talking about the first chapter of this quest of you needing to find the Shaggy Sumpter Beasts. Let’s see what you’ll have to do in order to complete it.
Take Pictures Of Shaggy Sumpter Beasts While They Are Eating Resting And Attacking – Genshin Impact

This is the first sub-quest of that questline. You will be needing to go after the Sumpter Beasts for this one. They are hippo-crab like creatures that like to live in a watery kind of area. That is why the location of them will be inside the little ponds that is shown in the picture below:
It will be right inside the Apam Woods and in the northeast little water pond.
You can find a bunch of them stacked up together. Wait a bit for taking their pictures because you will need to get them to rest, eat, and be in an attacking mode for completing the quest.
To watch them eat, simply you will have to wait a bit. Take out your camera and be patient. They are eating usually every 1-2 minutes, and as there will be 3 of them, it means that you can catch them eating pretty often.
To get them to sleep, also, be patient and keep an eye out when they lay down in the water. This is their sleeping position and you need to catch it in time!
To catch them attacking on the other hand you won’t need to wait. Go up next to them and strike one! Yes, you read that right! You will hit one with your weapon and get it into an aggressive stance. This way it will be chasing you and you will take a picture of it.
Once you take all 3 of these pictures you will have completed the quest. Congratulations!
