The Boon of the Elder Tree is a gadget that lets you gather materials from nearby trees, this includes bamboo and is a great way to get these materials faster. The Gadget can be used an unlimited amount of times with the only downside being its 15 second cooldown.
To get this gadget, you’ll need to go to the eastern side of Sumeru city. There you’ll have to find the NPC called Effandi, a researcher.
Talking to Effandi will give you a chance on checking your reputation in Sumeru. Increasing your reputation often gives you a chance to claim cool rewards. In this case, you can claim the Boon of the Elder tree when you hit Reputation Level 3 with them.
