A new region in a game can be quite exciting to find out, whether it’s been added through a recent patch in an MMORPG or finding a new part of the map in a single-player game, the sense of discovery is still great. These new places can have new quests, new enemies and new stories to encounter and that’s why it’s always fun to find them. In this Trail for the God of Wisdom guide, we’ll show you one of the starting quests in the new part of the map in Genshin Impact.
The Trail of the God of Wisdom Guide For Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact is a game that keeps on getting updated from time to time. This is normal for the Gacha game genre since the main draw for the game is the new characters you can use. These new characters often come with new places to explore, new stories to experience and new enemies to defeat. Basically, when big updates come out like these, they’re like expansions to the base game like a DLC but mostly free.
One of the new quests is called the Trail for the God of Wisdom. It has the player visit one of the new areas in the game. You need to head to Sumeru City for the quest so better start there. Once arriving in the city you’ll see a cutscene. In fact, most of the quest involves just going to one place, encountering a cutscene then moving to another place to another cutscene.
These cutscenes serve to tell you the story and context of the new content. It’s basically a long cutscene with some moving around in between the scenes.
At one point you’ll be in the Grand Bazaar and you’ll need to talk to specific people. One of them is next to the water fountain.
The next is talking to Dunyarzad herself.
The other two characters you need to talk to are Dehya near the fountain and the old lady at the back named Shrimati.
The last one is next to Dehya, just talk to Farhad the porter.
Afterwards, you’ll get the final cutscene. That’s the end of the quest! Welcome to Sumeru City!
