Quests in MMORPGs can be fun to play through, whether you’re in it for the combat or the story these quests often have something for everyone. Back then MMORPGs were much grindier where quests basically were few and your main way of getting XP is through defeating monsters over and over again. Nowadays MMORPGs have lowered the grind a bit and quests are now viable ways to level up, cutting out the monotonous grind for some games. Not only that but quests these days are now tied to the story and often give players some nice context on why they’re doing the things they’re doing. In this Unappreciated Carving guide, we’ll show you how to do one of the quests in Genshin Impact.
The Unappreciated Carving Guide For Genshin Impact
If you’re an avid fan of stories in video games then Genshin Impact has you covered. Through most of the quests, you’ll learn more not only about your character’s journey but also about the different characters and factions in the game. Some side quests even give you some more lore for those who like that kind of stuff and it’s often a viable way to level up and get cool new stuff to play with.
One of these quests is called The Unappreciated Carving. You get it from doing the new even in the new region. You’ll have to find your way to a place near Gandharva Ville where you’ll start a cutscene featuring one of the new characters in the game: Collei.
Afterwards you’ll need to head to the northeast where another cutscene will play with Collei. After the cutscene, you’ll need to move a bit to the next waypoint which isn’t far. After a short cutscene will be the next step of the quest.
After the cutscene you’ll need to find Aranara’s trail. Nearby is a path with three pieces of paper on the ground. Collect all of them and go back to continue the quest.
The next step is to go to the encampment at night, at around 00:00 to 4:00 the next day. If you want you can just skip the time through the menu. Head to the camp at that time and another cutscene will play. After that you’ll need to go back to that place where you found the clues, there you’ll find Collei.
Afterwards it’ll advance the time and all you need to do is go to the waypoint again for another cutscene.
This will be the final cutscene of the quest, afterwards the quest is done!
