When fighting bosses in Genshin Impact you will need to know that it is not a simple hack and slash type of deal. Instead, they will have more stages with different attacking patterns. In this guide, we will be showing you how to Uproot a very big boar. Let’s get started.
Uproot Guide – Genshin Impact
There are a couple of things that you will need with this Boar. You will need to do the Expulsion part, then the Capture, and then comes the Uproot. This is where you will need to come in order to be dealing with the boar.
As you can see there is a fast travel location just next to it so you can get there in an instant.
Once you get here you will be looking for the NPC with the name of Farabi. Talk to him and get through the long dialogue cutscene. Then when the cutscene is finished you will talk to him one more time and select the first option to get the boat to actually spawn.
The boar will then spawn in the middle of the big arena field. It will have a lot of HP and the damage that you deal to him will be reduced because of its very high resistance. You will want to keep focusing on attacking him after he misses you with his strike.
He will keep rushing you and hitting you with his nose. Before he starts he will do a quick tramble on the ground so you know when to expect it. When he misses you, you will begin to strike and slash him on his back.
Focus on the totems. The totems will have a circle shining around them. When they do, you will need to lead the boar to hit it. This is when you will need to throw the net on it. When throwing the net on him you will deal lots of damage.
When he gets to 50% HP you will enter the new stage and phase of this boss fight. Here you will get a lot of red circles appearing around you. You will need to dodge them because they will damage you.
There will also be smoke around you and the boar will keep teleporting around you to be able to strike you very fast. You will need to be constantly running around to be able to dodge it.
Then once he is low HP, you will stop damaging him. Instead, you will aim for a totem and him to hit it to get stunned. Then once stunned you will Uproot him with your net. This is how you can finish the Uproot quest.
