Vanir Shrine is a jungle-type of a map that is completely filled with lore that you can explore with Freya. In this guide, we will be showing you where all the lores, artifacts, chests, and Freya’s quest items might be located and how you can find all collectibles at Vanir Shrine. Let’s get started.
All Vanir Shrine Collectible Locations – God Of War Ragnarok
Lore 1/7
This is the location of where you will need to go to locate the Lore artifact. It will be just on the right side of the place where you will get that blue explosion of dust. It is located in the rune next to the wall.
Lore 2/7 – Treasure Map
This one will be right next to the lore rune that you have found above. You will just walk to the right and find a dead body. Walk up to it and you’ll get the Giant’s Toes treasure map that you will need to complete.
Lore 3/7
This lore rune location will be right after you pass and make the bridge by using your axe to throw it at the circle. You will follow the path and then get to a circular type of area where you can see the Rune on the left side. Keep in mind that there will be enemies that you’ll need to defeat.
Artifact 1/1
After you defeat the enemy and interact with the rune lore you will want to just move a little bit to the right. You will find these very same wooden fences. Destroy them and get on the other side to find the artifact.
Legendary Chest 1/1
This one will happen right after you get to the gate where you will need to pick it up. On the very right of the gate, you will find a couple of bushes. Destroy them with your fire hook and then use your axe to hit the circle found inside.
Then just walk back and get to this location:
It will be just behind the gate if you follow the wall to the left. Easy to find.
Freya’s Belonging 1/2
To be able to find Freya’s Belonging which is a quest item, just walk past the big gate and then get to this very small pillar at the end. There will be enemies spawning as you walk near it though so be careful.
Lore 4/7
You will see this bushy grass wall on the right side of the Freya’s Belonging. While here you will just want to destroy it and activate the circle that will be on the other side. Once you do so you will need to go back and find these branches on the direct opposite location.
Now just get down and continue walking until you get to this location with a very big gate. You will need to focus on the left wall of it.
Once here you will activate all the 3 spaces as shown in the picture above to actually get the gate to open. Now just enter it and keep eliminating all the enemies that you will come across until you will find this very same sign on the wall.
Lore 5/7
Just a very simple rune lore that you can find right next to the previous location. You will see it next to where all the enemies will spawn.
Freya’s Belongings 2/2
This is another quest item that you will get right behind the Lore 5 location. Just follow the road and defeat the enemies until you get to this little balcony.
Lore 6/7
Next to the location where you will get the second quest time for Freya, you will see another patch of wooden grass wall. Destroy it and activate the symbol and circle behind it.
Then just keep walking all the way back to the main and middle area of this entire section. You will get to a bridge that looks like this and has the lore on top of it.
Just walk up to it and interact with it. You won’t need to jump after it. Go on the other side and loot the body that you’ll find there.
Lore 7/7
Open up the door that you will see next to the body and enter it.
You will pick up the item that you will need for this quest with Freya but on the left side of the wall is where you will find this Rune Lore location.
Freya’s Missing Piece
For this one, you will need to return all the way back to the boat at Goddess Falls.
You will want to enter this gate here after first defeating the enemies. Open the gate and just keep following the pathway.
Follow the road until you get to the beach again. Interact with the boat and you’ll need to be fast in that quick time event. Kill the monster and you will end up pushing another boat to the water. This way you’ll get the quest piece.
