Conscience for The Dead is a very good quest to do because not only you’ll discover a lot of the lore behind Freya, but also unlock a whole new region that you can explore. In this guide, we will be showing you what you’ll need to be doing to completely finish it. Let’s get started.
Conscience for The Dead Guide – God Of War Ragnarok
This is where you will need to arrive first to be able to actually start the Conscience for The Dead Questline. You can see it on the map so you’ll just need to walk to it. Once you get to this point you’ll get a ghost to appear from the ground that will give you the quest.
First of all, you will need to climb on the wall on the left. While climbing up you will need to get on top of the pillars in the middle. Once here you’ll need to destroy these sets of bushes on the walls. Use the magical circles and then your fire hook.
Once that is done you’ll get down and climb on the chain that is right under those bushes. You can even see it in the picture above too.
Once you get on top you will find a symbol mechanic that you will need to activate. You will get a cool cutscene with a lot of rocks and mountain walls going down in the lake. Now you will need to go back to your boat and go to that very same location in the water.
This new area that you will discover is called Goddess Falls. You will enter the cave entrance and then dock up the boat to the beach. Destroy the wooden board door on the left and enter it.
Make sure to destroy all the fungus before you drop down though because it might kill you. Now drop down and just climb up on the left wall.
Once you get here you will see a couple of enemies. Just eliminate them all and continue running to the right side. There is a lot of fungus that you’ll need to take down too. Once you pass to the other side of the cave you’ll see a chain that will drop you down.
To be able to drop down though you will see these rocks under the ledge. Just use the methods shown in the picture above to completely destroy it and get down.
Now get next to the chest and just destroy the bomb on the left first.
Once that is all taken care of you may proceed to loot the chest. Once you loot it you will finish the quest. Congratulations!
