Some of the other Norse Gods we did not encounter in God of War will be in God of War Ragnarok. There will be bosses among them, and there will also be allies. We’ll show you how to defeat the All-Seeing Heimdall, one of the Norse Gods you might run into.
How to Defeat Heimdall in God of War Ragnarok
In Vanaheim, you will encounter Heimdall. One of the main bosses you must defeat is him. How can you combat someone who can see everything, though?
This is where the third weapon of Kratos comes in handy. To defeat Heimdal, Brok created the Draupnir. The ammo for this weapon is unlimited. The fight against Heimdall has several phases.
Damaging Heimdall
In the opening stages of your conflict with Heimdall, the latter will appear on Gulltoppr. To go on to phase 2, defeat him with his mount.
After you eliminate Gulltoppr, Heimdall will engage you in a solo battle. He won’t take his sword out of its scabbard while using it.
Use the spear while you battle him. He will catch your spear if you lob it his way. Detonate the spear to stun him, and an R3 cutscene will follow.
Following the event, Heimdall will block your spear throws with his sword. Detonate it if he deflects it onto the ground close to him to stun him once again and start another R3 cutscene.
After that, using the spear to stun him again will be challenging since he will swat it away. Throwing the spear on the ground and setting it off as he approaches are your only options. The last R3 cutscene in Phase 2 will then be triggered as a result. He will sustain damage in this scenario.
