God of War Ragnarok released a while ago and it’s been a massive hit. Thousands of players flooded this game with positive reviews and we can’t blame them! It’s an awesome continuation of Kratos and his saga in Norse Mythology and it’s filled with all the action and story that people love from the series. The game focuses more on an open-world aspect while also retaining the great visuals, amazing gameplay and rich story and lore that is common in the previous games. In this guide we’ll show you how to do one of the quests in the game.
How To Lure In The Drake God Of War Ragnarok
In one of the quests, or as the game likes to call it favours, called “Path of Destruction” you’re tasked with luring in a drake, to do this you’ll need an actual lure. The best way to get this drake is to use live lure of course! So when you jump down in the quest while following the footprints you’ll drop down to a cage.
- Set up the Cage
There’s two mechanisms you need to look for in the Northwestern side of the cage. The top one you’ll need to hit with your axe, this will raise up the cage, you then need to quickly hit the bottom cog with your axe again to freeze it. Failing to freeze the cog in time will just make the cage walls go down again.

Now that the trap is set, go to the southeast where you’ll find a gate you can lift up and open. There you’ll find some enemies, lure them inside the cage by standing there, then quickly go out and recall your axe to let the cage down.

You only need one in the trap so don’t worry about killing the other enemies. Just pull the chain down and the trap will serve up the lure topside, finishing this part of the quest!
