Kratos can use Runic Attacks that can cause different kinds of damages. It is exceptionally useful when fighting against hordes of enemies that have you surrounded. Of course, since you are playing as Kratos, you are stronger than the average person (since he is a god) and can deal more damage with or without weapons. But since he is about to start Ragnarok, he’s going to need all the help he can get. Which is why we got this tier list for you, so you can see what the best Light Runic Attack is, and which is the worst.
Leviathan Axe Light Runic Attacks Tier List – God of War Ragnarök
Light Runic Attacks Tier List
There are 5 Light Runic Attacks that you can get in God of War Ragnarok. However, you can only equip one at a time (one for Light Runic Attack and one for Heavy Runic Attack). Since you can only equip one at a time, which one is the best to have at all times? Here’s a tier list of the Light Runic Attacks for the Leviathan Axe, ranked from worst to best.
5. Wrath of the Frost Ancient
This attack is essentially an ice beam you can fire to your enemies. The longer you hold the button down, the longer the attack goes on, allowing you to hit multiple enemies at a time. This stunlocks the enemy you are attacking in place, but not the others.
Using this attack can do some serious damage, but it also leaves you open to attacks. I don’t really recommend this attack when playing in higher difficulties, but lower difficulties is okay.
4. Skadi’s Edge
Skadi’s Edge is great for crowd control, as you pretty much go Dead Eye and throw your axe, which will continuously hit the targets you have marked until it comes back to you. This pretty good for stunning some enemies for a few seconds, letting you attack with your other weapons. However, this doesn’t do much damage.
3. Njord’s Tempest
This one is an AoE attack, and it is very good when you are surrounded. It doesn’t do a lot of damage, but it does push back enemies when they are in the zone, so it’s pretty useful. It’s a pretty good Runic Attack overall, but if you’re looking for damage, then this might not be for you.
2. Winter’s Bite
This is the first Runic Attack you get for the Leviathan Axe, and you get it during the main story. It’s not as flashy as the other attacks, as it is a simple attack that essentially attacks whatever is in front of you. It does a good bit amount of damage, and can be upgraded to do even more. It also can hit multiple enemies if they are close together, making it a good way to take out multiple enemies.
1. Hel’s Touch
Just stating it now: Hel’s Touch does baby damage. Like it’s barely noticeable unless you fully upgraded it. But why is it so high up the list? Well that’s probably because the stun on this thing is so good. It can completely stun a Berserker, making playthroughs on harder difficulties so much easier. It gives you breathing room when you’re surrounded. Simply pop this move and boom, you got a way out.
