Finally, God of War Ragnarok is out, it’s been a long wait but it sure was worth it. Only after a few days after release and people are already overwhelmingly positive about the game. The game features a continuation of Kratos’ story in the same Norse Mythology setting but with more focus on giving the player an open world to play on as well as expanding more on the mythology itself. Since the game is an open world game it’s a given that there’s a lot of collectibles hidden around the map, in this guide we’ll show you all of the collectibles in The Forge.
The Forge All Collectibles In God Of War Ragnarok
Reminder that some of the collectibles in this area can only be found after going through certain parts of the main story.
For example, Yggdrasil rifts only appear after Chapter 10 and the spear can only be found during the same chapter. So it’s best to get these collectibles after that chapter or after you finish the main story. Here are all the collectibles in The Forge.
Odin’s Raven #1
From the start of the region you can see one of Odin’s Ravens flying around, good luck hitting it!
Artifact
Now from the place where you could hit the raven, head west and you’ll see a ledge you can climb up on. Head right and down another ledge to find a wooden chest and some scaffolding, destroy it and behind is an artifact.
Nornir Chest
From the artifact, head north up the ledge. Look eastwards and you’ll see a rune for a Nornir chest. Hit it with your spear.
Now head northeast going through a low ledge and you’ll see another rune on the cliff face.
Look east and you’ll find the chest, to the left you can see the last rune. Hit it with your spear and destroy them all to open the chest.
Yggdrasil Rift #1
From the chest head west the north to a passageway where you’ll enter this wide open area with water. There you’ll find a Yggdrasil Rift.
Lore #1
From the boss arena head west through a passageway that you can squeeze through. After that head north sticking to the right until you find a ledge going up.
Head east and you’ll find a camp where there’s a lore scroll marked in a small golden light.
Lore #2
Head north from the camp and you’ll see another lore bit on the wall.
Legendary Chest
The door next to the lore bit can only be opened after you visit this region a second time in the main story. Go through the door and follow the path going under a wooden bridge. Once past the bridge, head right and up a ledge to see a geyser that you can freeze with your axe.
Jump down the ledge and you should see the elevator going down. Go into the elevator and recall your axe to make it go up. Now go west past the wooden bridge and up the ledge. Follow the path north and then east to get to the legendary chest.
Odin’s Raven #2
From the chest head down and go back the path to the giant lfight that goes further into the northern mountains. Continue going north through the cave and you’ll see in the distance another one of Odin’s Ravens.
Yggdrasil Rift #2
Directly below Odin’s raven is a surface you can climb up. Climb up and go south then right to a cave. Past the cave continue going west jumping over a gap until you find a path you can squeeze through at the south. After going through look north where you came from and you can see two points where you can throw spears to make a path up.
Go through the path and at the end you’ll see another rift.
Congratulations you now know where all these collectibles are in God of War Ragnarok, now go out there and try to find them all yourself!
