With only a few days until the release of Gotham Knights, WB Games Montreal is gearing up for launch while gamers are preparing to play the game. After the reveal of the game being only locked behind 30 FPS on current gen consoles, PC players are worried that the game might be too “next gen” for their PC’s to handle. Let’s check out what the Recommended PC Specifications are for Gotham Knights.
Recommended PC Specifications Revealed for Gotham Knights
Especially after the reveal of the minimum system requirements on PC.
As you can see from Gotham Knights’ tweet last week, the system requirements is quite beefy. CPU minimum being an Intel Core I5-9600K or Ryzen 5 3600 and GPU is a GTX 1660 Ti or RX 590. These GPU’s and CPU’s aren’t exactly cheap, even after the price being lowered for PC parts after years of being so high.
Fast forward a week later, a couple of days before launch, and Gotham Knights released the recommended system requirements.
For CPU, you will need an Intel Core I7-10700K or a Ryzen 5 5600X. For GPU, you will need an RTX 2070 or an RX 5700 XT. If you thought the minimum system requirements was beefy, then you are not prepared for the recommended requirements.
Some fans are expressing their worry about the game. Like Twitter user Sigma Later, who says “So we’re finally hitting levels where my 1080Ti no longer meets the minimum requirements”. On the other side of the spectrum, some are asking why this game has such heavy requirements. One twitter user says “I get the feeling this isn’t going to be a very well optimized game.”
Looking at the requirements, people are right to be afraid that their PC’s might not be strong enough to handle this game. Even I myself, being a 3050 owner, am afraid that this game will be too much for my PC. Nevertheless, PC prices are down now. And, it is the perfect time for an upgrade if you have it in your budget.
