Getting the gold in Gran Turismo 7 challenges requires plenty of skill, and many players aren’t able to get it no matter what they try. We wanted to step in and help, so we made a short step-by-step tutorial on getting the gold in the intermediate drifting 2Gone With The Wind” mission challenge. Here’s how to get it.

Intermediate Drifting 2 | Gone With The Wind – How To Earn Gold

Before You Start

First things first, make sure to change the settings as this will help you reach gold and make things much less challenging.

  • Start by turning off the countersteering assistance so that you can steer with more accuracy and tightness.
  • Then, set the controller steering sensitivity to seven or more if it’s more suitable for you.
  • Set your gear to automatic, turn off the traction control, leave the ABS settings on default, and turn on the ASM.
  • Lastly, set the force feedback to five.

Playing with these settings is highly recommended, and it’s much more painless to get gold than playing on default settings.

If you end up frustrated because you still cannot get gold no matter what, take a pause and come back once you’re clear-headed. Now, let’s move on to the race.

The Race

This race has two sectors. You should take the first sector quickly and always stick to the line so you can get more points this way. Ideally, you should aim for around 2500 points in this sector.

NOTE: You don’t need a very sharp angle here.

Stick to the line here.

After the first sector, do a short drift before you reach the corner. Then, drift in the other direction carefully, and don’t accelerate, or you’ll be too fast.

Ideally, you should aim for around 4700 points here.

Don’t accelerate too much, or you’ll end up in the sand.

Once you get past the “break” area, go pedal to the metal until the finish point.

From here, go full speed.

If you did everything we told you right, you will eventually get this message: , and for that, congratulations!
