If you want to be getting some of the best items in God of War Ragnarok you will have to be visiting and unlock the hidden and locked areas. In this guide, we will be showing you how to get to one hidden area and unlock the Greater Regenerating Essence. Let’s get started.
God of War Ragnarok – Greater Regenerating Essence Location
Location
First of all, you will need to uncover the secret region known as the Sinkholes. This is the region and location where you will need to go to find it.
You will need to use the zipline to get on the ground level. Once you get to the bottom you will need to enter the cave that is right under the cave entrance itself. Once you enter it you will trigger a shaking animation by the Tremors.
Questline
This way you will get the Quaking Hollow questline started. Once that is all over you will need to go to the east side of this entire region. You will enter the cave entrance with the blue light. Once inside, you will get on the other side by using the spear and arrive here.
Here you will find a Dragon flying over. It will be hitting you with fire from the couple of pillars that it will be standing on.
To get it dealt with, you will need to use your spear right under the Dragon itself when it is standing on these pillars.
Once it will be dealt with you will need to go to the very left side of this map region and pull the chain on the gate. Now get on the other side and continue walking inside the tunnel cave. You will be following the tunnel and use this to reach the other side.
You will need to use the magical circles around in these locations and then activate it with your fire hook on the left side. This will get the branches to be burnt off and you can cross on the other side.
Getting The Greater Regenerating Essence
Once you cross you will just follow the cave road and get into the little entrance. Follow it and keep going inside of it while crouched. Once you leave the whole road you will get into a closed-off cave arena and fight the Crag Jaw boss.
You will need to complete defeat the Craw Jaw boss and complete the quest that will have the objective of defeating this boss. Once you do so, you will get the Greater Regenerating Essence as a reward.
