Gwent: How To Unlock Overkill Achievement

No better kill than an Overkill!

Gwent: How To Unlock Overkill Achievement

Gwent has been growing as a game since its introduction in the Witcher Series, and now with a proper game that anyone can play it of course gets its own set of achievements. In this guide, we’ll show you how to unlock the Overkill Achievement.

How to Unlock Overkill Achievement in Gwent

This is the Achievement you’re looking for. In a Multiplayer battle, win by 50 points or more. Just a reminder that the points need to be in ONE round, not the cumulative points in the entire match.

The best place to start is with casual match mode, during a sale if possible. The sale will introduce a large influx of new players who still don’t know the gist of the game. Some may think of this as seal-clubbing, but this is the price you pay for going to casual match mode.

Remember, new players don’t know the game that much. With that they also won’t know they’re in a losing game and will most likely not forfeit, giving you more time to get to 50 points.

As for actual strategies, decks that are boost heavy or spawn heavy can work in easily overwhelming your foe. Decks under the Monster deck with Force of Nature or the Northern Realm’s Royal Inspiration are great starts for either a spawn or boost heavy deck respectively.

Cards like the Maiden’s Shield which spawns AND boosts are cards that you should look out for. These cards will prove valuable to your deck if combined with scenarios and other cards that further increase your points. Experiment with your deck and try to boost or spawn your way into the achievement.
