If you’re familiar with Sol’s RNG, you’ll probably know that there’s a new kid on the block with Hades RNG. As a gacha based game, Hades RNG seems to be showing encouraging signs of being a unique yet similarly well-done experience. It is still in the in-dev stage, so this is your chance to start off early!
If you’re just starting out, you might be having some issues understanding the game. Not to worry, we have you sorted out. In this beginner’s guide, we’ll be providing you with tips, tricks and all the information you need about Hades RNG. With that said, let’s get into it!
Complete Beginner’s Guide
In this Hades RNG beginner’s guide, we’ll be covering the basics before diving into the more complex stuff. Keep in mind that the game is still relatively new. A lot more is to be added to the game, and so it will change accordingly.
Obtaining Auras (Rolling)
The main goal in Hades RNG is for you to obtain auras in the game. Auras give you a cool cosmetic look that you can show off to other players. Each of the Auras in the game differ in Rarities; your goal is to get the best and rarest ones.
Auras also have exclusive moves tied to them as well, with some of them being really rare to obtain. For example, the CheatReal Aura has a 1 in 2,000,000 chance to obtain and gives you 4 exclusive moves. You can increase your chances with luck, but we’ll dive more into that later on.
You obtain Auras by rolling, which is the main option that you can find on the bottom of the screen. After you Roll, an animation plays out showing you what item you got.
If you get tired of the animation, you can even purchase the Quick Roll option for 100 Robux. Additionally, you can unlock the Auto Roll after you’ve completed 500 Rolls.
Next, we’ll dive into how you can increase your luck in Hades RNG. It will help you get better items from your Rolls.
Increasing Luck (Using Items)
Since so many Auras are almost impossible to get, you’ll need some way to improve your luck. There are two items in the game that you can use, found all around the map.
These two items in Hades RNG to improve your luck are:
- Gwa Gwas (Cats)
- Prays (Luck Stars)
Both of these items spawn in different areas all around the Hades RNG map. Both of them have a 50/50 chance of spawning. Check out our All Item Spawn Areas guide – it will show you everywhere you need to look to get them reliably.
First up, we’ll be discussing Gwas Gwas. Gwas Gwas are items that look like cats that you can pick up. These cats act like currencies that you can use at a shop on the map. You can use them by visiting the Gwa Gwa Boss NPC.
You can find him near the center of the Crossroads map. He is a giant cat that has a crown on him.
Interact with him and it will open a Craft Menu. Here, you can purchase all sorts of Gwa Gwa that will give you different buffs to your luck.
The requirements will also be listed out, which are typically standard Gwa Gwas and specific Auras. Once you have the Gwa Gwa, consume it from the inventory to get the buffs.
Next, we’ll be looking at Prays, also known as Luck Stars in the community. You can also find them in the item spawn areas.
You can use Prays by accessing them in your Inventory. When you use them, an animation will pray out as your character prays. As a result, you will be given a temporary buff to your luck, ranging from 1-777%.
So, we recommend using both of these items to boost your luck and get the Auras you need!
PvP Mode
Something we want to quickly touch upon is PvP Mode. Yes, you can actually fight other players in Hades RNG, which is something that isn’t in Sol’s RNG.
You can toggle PvP mode by going into the Settings Menu and selecting the Combat Tab. From here, you can toggle the option as you wish.
If you’re only interested in getting Auras and Rolls, we recommend that you turn it off. However, there is one downside to not having PvP enabled.
You won’t be able to dash around – which means you’ll be slower in the game.
Dash can help out a lot when you are farming items for luck. So, if you do not want to participate in combat, we recommend going into a private server. Here, you can enable PvP mode and use dash without worrying about being killed off.
In PvP Mode, you can also test out your moves linked to the Auras you unlock.
That’s everything you need to know for the beginner’s guide for Hades RNG. This should help you get some great Auras before the game goes through further updates. Since we’ve mentioned Sol’s RNG quite a bit, you might be interested in all the Secrets you might have missed in the game.
