Heroes Online 2, the sequel to Heroes Online is another Roblox game inspired by the hit anime My Hero Academia where players learn some new quirks and become either a hero who saves the world or a villain who destroys it. Complete Beginners Guide
Here, we’ll be discussing everything players need to know to get started in the new My Hero Academia-inspired game, Heroes Online 2. We’ve covered everything a beginner should know to get a head start in the game, so it’s best to read this guide from start to end!
Choosing a Faction
When you join a game, the first thing that you’ll need to do is select a character from the main menu. You’ll see a large plus sign that you’ll need to click before you proceed.
Once that’s done, you’ll be met with a short cinematic that will play at the start; the cinematic will feature a masked villain and a hero resembling All Might from MHA.
At this point, players will be prompted to choose a side. You can either choose to be a: Villain or a Hero. The best part about this is that this decision is not final, and you can change your faction anytime depending on your in-game actions.
The option to change also perfectly emulates the anime experience because people can always change from bad to good or vice versa even when they start off as someone else.
To help players decide which one to choose, they should know that the progression for both factions is the same. Therefore, you can really pick whatever resonates with you the most and it will make little to no difference.
Once you’re done, you should have a bunch of options on your screen. Select “Code” and punch in this code as a new player: newBeginnings.
Character Customization and Quirks
At this point, you can start customizing your Roblox character with a wide range of clothes, faces, skin colors, eyes, and many more options to make your character unique to you.
You can also click on the dice option at the bottom which randomizes your avatar when you can’t decide, you’re in a hurry, or if you want a random combination that the computer picks for you.
Once that’s done, go over to the “Quirks” tab and acquire your very first quick/ability.
Click on “Spin” and the game will soon reveal what quirk you’ll get. It’s important to note that when you spin, you get to choose to keep your current quirk that the game gave you or you can spin again and try for a better and rarer one. You’ll get 5 spins initially and can thus spin 5 times. You can get the option to obtain a second quirk for free at level 100 or you can buy to unlock Quirk 2.
Furthermore, adding modifiers will increase your chances of getting more rare quirks. Modifiers, unfortunately, are not something you can attain as a beginner, instead, you’ll learn more about them as you progress in the game.
You’re now prepared to head into the game. From here, the game explains the basics to every player. The game will ask you to follow some markers that will lead you to the first quest. After the initial tutorial and some rundown of basics, the game leaves you on your own and considers you ready to embark on your adventure.
Leveling Up
Now after your initial quest marker and completing it, the game does not provide you with any more markers or direction of where to go next. This prompts players to wonder how they’re going to progress on level up in the game.
So, here’s what you need to do once you’re done with the first quest. Select the “mail” icon at the top of your screen.
Your inbox will contain a list of all pending quests. This could mean side quests you’ve accepted or the quests the game provided to you. If you wish to complete one, you can click mark and this will activate the markers once again so you can follow it and complete the mission.
Completing quests is one way to level up. For more quotes, you can talk to your faction’s quest giver and they’ll provide you with some more tasks to complete. You’ll have the option to do challenging quests or something easy.
Completing these quests should give you a ton of EXP and allow you to level up much faster. Additionally, the quest giver only gives you 5 quests at a time. This timer will reset and you can visit the quest giver again for more quests.
Acquiring Your First Sword
To get your first sword, you’ll need to visit a small hidden shop. We’ll tell you where you can find it. When you exit the academy, turn right and head into the nearest alleyway.
Go past the tree and stop when you see a building with a little window at the bottom.
This is a secret shop. The shop will have an entrance to the left side of it. You can enter, talk to the shopkeeper, and purchase the Rusty Gear Blade for 25000 yen.
You can equip this sword by going to your inventory by pressing “M”. Select the Rusty Gera Blade sword and then equip it through the option on the left. This way, you’ll have this awesome sword equipped and attached to your back.
To activate it, press “Y”.
Accessing Quirks
How are we already forgetting that our characters have these special abilities the game and anime like to call “quirks”? To access your quirk, you’ll need to head to your inventory menu by pressing “M”.
Click on skills and then press “Quirks”. The quirks tree will show you what level you can get the upgrade and how much yen each upgrade needs. There’s also a “Combat” tab you can check out for more upgrades.
Similarly, there is a Stats tab where you can move some stats around with a certain number of stats points. You can assign these points in any way you like between strength, quirk, stamina, and defense. It all comes down to your playstyle and what you prioritize in combat.
All of this is very self-explanatory and easy to understand, so don’t forget to explore these tabs and see what you can modify or use to your advantage.
From here on, it’s essential that players simply explore all parts of the game to learn more. The game offers a variety of different quests, shops, NPCs, bosses!
Events
The game will introduce events to you which are exclusive, typically time-limited missions where you’ll have to complete certain tasks. This may include defeating bosses, capturing the flag, and some PvE or PvP.
Participating in and completing these events will earn you a ton of rewards. Rewards include items, essences, money, tickets, free spins, and more.
