We all know how chests work in video games, there’s loot inside of them or sometimes they’re mimics. We kill the latter and get the former, simple as that. It fires our neurons when we see one and gives us dopamine when we open one.
Genshin Impact has perfected this idea to the point where it’s the main hook of the game. In Hogwarts Legacy, they still follow this gaming tradition of chests in dungeons that you can loot!
In this guide, we’ll show you where all the chests are in a single location in the game so that you don’t miss any of them!
All Chest Locations in Moonstone Garden – Hogwarts Legacy
There are a lot of areas in Hogwarts Legacy that you can go to and some of them have collectibles or chests that you can find when exploring them. Unlike other games though where there are dozens of them in an area, Hogwarts Legacy just gives you a couple since they respect your time.
In this guide, we’ll show you where all the chests are in Moonstone Garden.

Once you get inside the Moonstone Garden you can go through this dungeon as usual since it’s a fairly straightforward dungeon with only a few enemies in it.
Once you get to the point where there’s a chest in the minimap and you see a big room with no chest that’s where you’ll need to do a few things.
First, go look at the top of the walls of the room, there you’ll see some glowing things that you need to cast Accio on.
Doing so will unlock a section of the wall where there’s a chest inside.
Now go through the rest of the dungeon until you reach the area with the two Cottongrass Dugbog.
Head south after defeating them or sneaking past them and you’ll find a small tunnel to go through. At the end is the room with the last chest inside!
Congratulations you now know where these chests are in Hogwarts Legacy, now go out there and try to get it yourself!
