As you make your way through the game, you’ll encounter a lot of different quests. Some have you fighting creatures and other wizards, some have you crafting potions, and many have you finding random items in the overworld.
An early side quest you’ll encounter is the one that has you finding all of the Daedalian Keys hidden throughout the school. Because there are 16 in total, it can be a bit challenging to find them all on your own in an efficient and time-friendly manner.

Astronomy Tower
The first key is marked on your map, so just head to the Astronomy Tower, and you’ll find it. Follow the key, and it will bring you to the cabinet shown above.
Defence Against The Dark Arts Classroom
Head to the Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom and go down one floor. You’ll find a key by the skeleton; follow it back up the stairs to the cabinet shown above.
Central Hall
Go to Central Hall and go toward the Greenhouse. The key will be to your right; follow it, and it will bring you toward the Transfiguration Courtyard doors to an alcove to the right, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Library
In the library, you’ll find the key on the right by the bookshelves. Follow it, and it will bring you to the opposite side of the library, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Second in Central Hall
Head upstairs toward the viaduct from the central hall. Before entering the door, turn right, and you’ll find the key. Follow it down the stairs to the right, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Faculty Wing
Go to the Faculty Wing and enter the room Gladwyn Moon is standing by. Go up the stairs, and you’ll find the key on the upper landing. Follow it down the stairs, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Second in Faculty Wing
Go through the same door in the Faulty Wing that Gladwyn Moon is standing next to. Go higher up the stairs than you did for the precious key. You’ll find a portrait corridor to your left where the key can be found. Follow the key to the Prefect’s Bathroom, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Map Chamber
Go up the spiral staircase in the Map Chamber until you reach a large stone chamber. You’ll find the key; follow it back down the corridor and up some stairs, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Bell Tower Courtyard
Go up the stairs to the left in the Bell Tower foyer. Go toward the History of Magic classroom, then down the stairs to the left. Head through the door on the right, then toward the dragon statue, where you’ll find the key. Follow it up the stairs, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Potions Classroom
Go to the Potions Classroom, turn left, and you’ll find the key. Follow it down the stairs, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Bell Tower Courtyard
Go to the Bell Tower Courtyard, just outside the History of Magic classroom. The key will be outsider the classroom; follow it up the stairs, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Great Hall
From the centre of the Great Hall, you’ll see large double doors. Go all the way down the stairs; you’ll find the key through an archway. Follow it to the Quad Courtyard, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Clocktower Courtyard
Go to the Clocktower Courtyard and through the locked door on the left. Go to the top of the stairs. You’ll find the key floating on the landing. Follow it through an archway, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Viaduct
Go to the viaduct, up the stairs, and into the entrance hall. Go up the stairs by the cabinet on the left. The key is up the stairs near the double doors. Follow it, and it will lead out to the corridor, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
Great Staircase
Go to the Great Staircase and head upstairs, where the key will be. Follow it down the stairs, where you’ll find the cabinet shown above.
