The Harry Potter Build – Hogwarts Legacy Build Guide

Talents

We shall start off with the Dark Arts spells because many people would be wondering if we would use Avada Kedavra. Since we are aiming for an immersive build, the answer would be no.

Although that is the case, these spells are highly recommended since they are very powerful in the game. The cursing and binding enemies together alone is a must.

The most essential talent perk tree that you need to focus on for a Harry Potter build is the Core talents.

Choose the same ones that you can see in the picture above because they make the chemistry of your spells that much greater and everything will go very smoothly when casting spells.

Stealth is the biggest and most active aspect of a Harry Potter build, which is why we recommend that you choose all of the Stealth Perks.

They are very powerful and we suggest that you start out each combat situation with them. This is something also done a lot by Harry both in the movies and the book alike.

Something that will help out with the stealth is choosing this perk in the Room of Requirement talent tree. You can go crazy and choose whatever you want from here that is based on your personal preference of item usage in the game for combat.

Spells

You are going to need to have this spell on you at all times. It is crucial that you choose Disillusionment as a Harry Potter build because stealth is essential in it.

You can combine it with Petrificus Totalus to immobilize and take out enemies the instant after the stealth session.

Accio is one of the biggest and most important spells for Harry, as can be seen in both the books and the movies.

It is a spell that you can use a lot in combat and help you out in defeating a lot of enemies, but at the same time use it for solving puzzles and everyday adventures around Hogwarts.

You can go for Incendio since it’s a very good AoE spell that will set targets on fire around you.

It is also a very powerful spell that could be used by Harry if he was in the game. It also works very well with the stealth gameplay of this build too.

We cannot make a Harry Potter build without including the iconic Expelliarmus spell in it.

It is a decent spell that would be very useful in combat but we mostly chose it because of the immersion aspect. It is effective both again enemies that have weapons or not in their hands.

Another suitable spell to replace this one is Arresto Momentum you can choose too.

Gear & Traits

This is how the Harry Potter build and look should look like in Hogwarts Legacy.

As you can see, it does bring a lot of HP to the table as well as having a decent amount of Offence and Defence capabilities.

We recommend that you stick with Scorching and Concentration as your traits.

You can play around with how many of them you place on the 6 pieces of gear slots, but they are the most essential and needed for this build.

Here are the individual pieces of gear that you can use:

  • Handwear- Black Rivet Gloves
  • Facewear – Sanguine Mask
  • Headwear – Light Herbologist hat
  • Neckwear – Royal Chinese Fireball Scarf
  • Cloaks and Robes – Leather Winter Cloak
  • Outfit – Dappe Mauve Ensemble

That is all that you need to know about making the most immersive Harry Potter build in Hogwarts Legacy. We hope that this guide has helped you out in making your favorite playstyle in the game.
