Hogwarts Legacy might overwhelm you with the number of puzzles and additional challenges it has to offer. Some are part of the main story plot questline while some are just for the side quests.
Regardless, these puzzles and challenges add more entertainment to the game.
As you go on with the game, you will encounter a side quest called Cache in the Castle. This side quest will put your treasure-hunting skills to the test.
But to make it a lot easier for you, we created this guide to help you locate the chest.
Where to Find the Cache in the Castle

Cache in the Castle is one of the side quests that you can find in the Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower.
To start this, go to the said tower and head in front of the classroom where Charms takes place. This statue will be your mark. In front of this statue, you will see a ring destination. Approach and interact with it to start the side quest.

After you have started the quest, talk to a student named Arthur Plummly to start your journey.
Arthur will give you a piece of paper showing a map for a treasure hunt. This small paper contains all of the hint locations and landmarks that you have to visit in order to finish the quest.
There will be three hints that you have to find which are as follows:

Looking at the map, you will notice that the first clue indicated in the map is a rhinoceros skeleton. From your location, move four floors down the building to find the same exact skeleton displayed at the center.

For the next clue, you have to head out of the building and look for the fountain located in the courtyard. This will be the next landmark according to the map that Arthur gave you.

To arrive at the third clue, you have to go past the fountain and enter the building across. Upon entering the building, go upstairs and look for the painting that looks like a house covered in snow.
This last location will be the hiding spot of the chest that you are looking for. To get the chest, cast Accio on the handle at the top of the frame to reveal a stair and a door in front of you.
Head inside the room and approach the chest inside. Inside the chest is an Authentic Historian’s Uniform.
After you claim the reward, you can return to Arthur Plummy in the same spot where you met him earlier. Talk to him to end the quest.
