Hogwarts is a place of many secrets. In fact, the secrets of Hogwarts contain secrets. Even its secrets contain secrets. Everything from the floors to the paintings on the walls contains at least some sort of secret. One that you can expect to lead you to something magical. While there are many secrets to find, we will focus on one secret that we can locate by finding the location that is shown on the painting. If you are looking for it as well, then follow this guide and we will lead you to where it is.
Find the Location Depicted in the Painting Quest Guide – Hogwarts Legacy
Location in the Painting
There is a frame in the main hall that has an indentation of a moth in it. The painting above it will show you where you need to go. It’s actually not that far from the painting, and it will only take you a couple of steps to find the location on the painting.
Go down the stairs and turn left and look at the corner of the stairs. You should see a moth hanging around. Cast Lumos and the moth will follow the light on your wand.
Go back to the painting and use whatever spell you have to throw the moth to the frame. This will complete the puzzle and you will get a Field Guide Page as a reward. You can then go back to Lenora to complete the quest.
