While going through the game, you’ll find a lot of ways to help your player progress, be it during combat or when exploring the overworld. Though you may immediately think of the numerous spells in the game when thinking of helpful tools in the game, which they are helpful, there is more that can be used to enhance your abilities.
There is a lot of different plant life you will encounter in the game, some familiar and some very fantastical, like the Mandrake.
This guide shows you how you acquire and use these peculiar little fellows.
How to Acquire Mandrake
Mandrake seeds are very easy to acquire. All you have to do is go North of Hogsmeade to Dogweed and Deathcap. The shop is just North of Brood and Peck, across the bridge, and up a hill in an alcove.
In this shop, you can buy a fully-grown Mandrake for 500 gold. You can also buy Mandrake seeds for 800 gold.
If you go the seed route, you’ll have to take them to the Room of Requirement to grow them. Just grab a pot, throw them in, and before long, you have a new friend!
How to Use the Mandrake
To use the Mandrake, simply equip it and use it with the L1 or Left Button. The plant will affect multiple enemies at once, so wait until you are surrounded, then use the Mandrake to attack them all simultaneously.
