Hogwarts Legacy: How to Buy, Equip & Use a Broom

Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. In this game, you will go on an adventure to obtain new items, and different spells and uncover many mysteries. This is why having a transportation option is really important.

You can move around and explore many different areas using the Broom system. Early on in your progress, the game will also require you to obtain a Broom for yourself. In this guide, we’ll show you how to buy, equip & use a broom in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Buy, Equip & Use a Broom

To buy a Broom, you’ll want to head towards Hogsmeade. In the city, you will be able to see the Spintwitches Sporting Needs store in the southern area of the city.

Inside the store, you can talk to the NPC to buy a Broom your yourself. There will be up to four different brooms for you to choose from. They all cost 600 coins each, so you can choose whatever you think has the best appearance.

You cannot fly inside the city and you’ll want to leave it. Once you have left the city area, open up your options and choose Gear.

To the right of your screen, you’ll see the Broom option which you can select.

After that, you can open up your items menu and you’ll see the broom equipped on the right side. There will also be an indicator telling you which key to press to use the Broom. In this case, press the O Button and you’ll equip it.

Then, you’re free to fly around on your Broom! This can be a great way for you to move between areas and cities without having to walk. By moving quickly, you can save a lot of time and speed up your progress.
