Throughout your journey at Hogwarts, you’ll encounter many different quests. Some have you fight fierce creatures; others have you creating helpful potions; and some far beyond either.

In one quest, you get to design the interior of a Professor’s room–so much different than a majority of the quests you take on, but very much welcomed for those who are fans of Sims. The Interior Decorating side quest can be taken on after you have completed The Room of Requirement quest.

This guide will show you how to complete the Interior Design quest in Hogwarts Legacy!

Starting the Quest

As mentioned above, you must first complete The Room of Requirement quest before taking on this quest.

After you have completed it, you must then talk to Professor Weasley to start the quest. You will first have to bring her a Moonstone, which is a currency in the game that allows you to decorate.

After you have brought her a Moonstone, you can start decorating!

The object of the quest is to place five wall decorations and five floor decorations. You can place them wherever you’d like, so don’t worry about making them look perfect.

After placing the floor and wall decorations, Professor Weasley will teach you the Altering spell, which you can use to change the colour and alter the size of items.

You are then tasked with customizing the floor and balcony using your newly-learned altering spell. Just change it to whatever colour you’d like, then speak to Deek.

Deek allows you to change the room’s ambiance. After that, speak to Professor Weasley, and you have completed the quest.
