As part of the open-world exploration in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll go through Coastal Cavern to reach Poidsear Coast.
Coastal Cavern is a tunnel on the southern base of a mountain that connects the South Sea Bog region to the Poidsear Coast region, next to Marunweem Lake.

To start the journey, go through the Medium Bandit Camp at the base of the mountain and continue through the Coastal Cavern tunnel.
There’s only one path through the tunnel, but it’s full of enemies that will attack you.
Eventually, you’ll reach an exit leading toward the Poidsear Coast region.

After you reach Poidsear Coast through the Coastal Cavern, head southeast until you eventually reach the Marunweem Lake region.
Unlike the mountain that made it hard to reach the Poidsear Coast, there’s nothing separating Poidsear Coast and Marunweem Lake.
You can reach the area either on foot, on your Broom, or on a Mount.
This region is home to a variety of collectibles and challenges, such as Astronomy Tables and Merlin Trials. The small and peaceful Marunweem hamlet also sits on the edge of the lake.
