Hogwarts Legacy: What Happens if You Breed 2 Shiny Beasts

Kind of disappointing news…

Shiny Beasts are the rarest beasts in Hogwarts Legacy. Getting them is a very hard task and that’s why you would ask yourself if it’s possible to actually breed them.

Well, wonder no more because it is in this guide that you shall find out the result of that question. Let’s get started and get to some shiny breeding.

What Happens if You Breed 2 Shiny Beasts – Hogwarts Legacy

To know when one beast is Shiny, you just need to look at its name.

If it has a star next to the name just like the one shown in the picture above, it means that it’s a Shiny beast. It won’t look anything different than the rest but we don’t really know what they do yet.

Once they breed, however, there will be a baby beast. This beast will be shiny just as the parents are, of course, you shall need to find 2 sets of Shiny parents to make this baby.

Other than that, the beast is absolutely the same as every other beast in the game.

It won’t give you anything extra in terms of items when you interact with it, it won’t sell for anything higher than a regular beast in your Vivarium and it won’t look any different at all.

We are sorry if you were expecting something better than this, to be honest, we were too, but that is the case at the moment.

Maybe in the future, the devs will change this Shiny status of beasts and give us actually something to do with them.

That’s all that you need to know about breeding Shiny Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy. We hope that this guide has given the answer to your question. Have fun breeding away!
